TOT is training program to certify the trainers so that they can provide the training in a better manner. TOT is a program launched to enhance the quality to impart the training at various locations. It is aimed at those new to training to enable them to make an effective contribution to the training and development of others. It will give trainers the basic skills and knowledge needed as a foundation from which they can later develop further specialist skills of identifying training needs, training design, training facilitation and training evaluation.
NEW GUIDELINES FOR TOT, TOA and Master Trainer TOT
This is to inform you that PMKVY team has issued the new guidelines under PMKVY 2.0 for 'Training of Trainer' and 'Training of Assessor' program. TOT & TOA are mandatory under PMKVY 2.0 . TOT/TOA/Master Trainer TOT calendar and qualification pack of platform skills for trainer/master trainer/Assessor are given below for the month of October, November & December 2017.
Please make sure you follow the steps for Registration. Process details given below.
1.TOT/TOA/Master Trainer TOT will be a two-step process -
a) 1st Step Certification on Domain Skills
b) 2nd Step certification on Training Skills (Platform Skills)
2.Batch will be called off/ postponed in case we do not get a viable no. of participants at a particular location.
3.A batch will be formed with a strength of 15 to 20 participants (trainer/ master trainer/Assessor). A confirmation e-
mail will be sent from our side in case the batch is being cancelled / postponed, 72 Hours prior to the planned schedule of the ToT.
4.Trainer/Assessor should secure 80% and above in the domain skills whereas the Master Trainer should secure 90% and above in the domain skills.
5.TOT/TOA :
a)2 days : Domain Skills training
b)Assessment of domain skills on 3rd day
c)6 days: Platform skills training wrt the Qualification Pack : ToT/TOA Program
d)Assessment of platform skills on 10th day

Rs.11,000/-per participant for Technical Roles

6. Master Trainer TOT
The training duration will be of 5 days covering
a)The training would be of 4 days where participant would undergo the basic overview of domain and platform skills with respect to the QP.
b)Assessment of domain and platform skills on 5th day

We are in process of inviting all the Mobilizing Agency/Aggregators to be a part of TSSC. These mobilizing agency will also be a part of Rozgar Melas/Job fairs and other important events organized by TSSC.
Mobilizing Partners will catalyze candidates for all the Short Term Trainings/RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) and Apprenticeship training. Preferred mobilizing partners should have good connect with the industries in telecom sector.
