Course Description: This course aims to further sharpen student skills to work with data to drive insights to evaluate business outcomes by using explanatory data analysis and visualization techniques. The course emphasizes identifying and visualizing the structure in the data and communicating insights through storytelling. The course examines how analytical techniques can be used to improve decision-making across industries and business functions. Students will study real-world examples of business analytics to place evidence-based decision making in context, to develop data-analytic thinking, and to understand that proper application is a combination of art and science.
