Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) inks MoU with Taiwan for collaborative skill development

TSSC, First Sector Skill Development Council to tie-up with a Foreign Country

Telecom Sector Skill Council, a not for profit industry driven body set up under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) took a giant step towards enhancing Skilling internationally by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Taiwan to strengthen cooperation in the skill development in Telecom sector.

The Agreement signed by Lt General. SP Kochhar, CEO, Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) and a high-level delegation of Taiwan officials and experts led by J.P. Wang, Deputy Director General of the Department of Investment Services, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) Taiwan is a significant step towards development of bilateral cooperation in the field of corporate job vacancies and recruitment services post skilling in India and Internationally.

 

Under the Agreement, TSSC will provide right trained/skilled workforce to Taiwan for employment in Taiwan and in return Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) will provide details of opportunities to serve various organizations which seek service of professionals trained by TSSC. Taiwan will also take the initiative in carrying out the exchange of recruitment information between members of TSSC and enterprises in Taiwan creating more job opportunities.
